I chose to name my practice parola, after the word lighthouse in Tagalog (my native language), because so much of what a lighthouse does reminds me of how therapy works.

Therapy can function as a light to guide you in the dark when you’re lost; it’s a way to find your way back home, wherever home may be - Is it yourself? Is it a more loving relationship? Is it back in touch with your identities? With your family?

My approach as a therapist is to act as a guide for you, like a lighthouse, on the journey you find yourself on. I will be there with you every step of the way.
