a space to understand yourself, reconnect, and grow

You might be the one who holds everything together. You’re the person others come to, the one who knows what everyone needs (and maybe isn’t as sure about what you need). Or you might be in the middle of a big change, like a move, a breakup, or a new chapter. Or you’re at the very beginning of figuring out what you want for yourself, and it feels both exciting and a little scary.

Maybe you’ve noticed the same patterns showing up in your relationships, or in how you talk to yourself, and you’re ready to change them (or at least understand where they came from). Maybe you’ve spent so long meeting other people’s expectations that you’re curious what it would be like to trust yourself instead.

If any of that sounds familiar, I’d love to work with you.

In individual therapy, we work on the changes you want to see in your life and your relationships. Sometimes that means sitting with an emotion you’ve learned to push aside, or gently challenging a belief you’ve carried for a long time. Sometimes it’s something new entirely, like a different way of relating to yourself, or of being with the people around you. You already have strengths and wisdom. My job is to help you notice them.

how we can work together

Every person comes in with something different, and this list isn’t exhaustive, but here’s where we might spend our time:

  • understanding the patterns that keep showing up in your relationships (family, friends, work, romantic partners, etc.)

  • looking at childhood experiences and how they still shape you today

  • navigating difficult or complex relationships,

  • building a more compassionate relationship with yourself

  • reconnecting with your needs and boundaries

  • moving through life transitions and finding ways to take care of yourself while you do

  • making room to grow into who you want to be

  • figuring out what matters most to you, and building a life that reflects it

  • noticing the strengths you already carry (especially the ones you brush off or don’t think of as strengths)

If you’re working through something that isn’t listed here, you’re welcome to reach out and ask whether I might be a good fit.

you in the context of your life

As a Filipino American and queer therapist, I know our experiences of ourselves and our relationships are shaped by more than our individual histories. We don’t become who we are in isolation. Our families, cultures, relationships, and the world around us all shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and move through life. I see you in your contexts, and I honor the experiences that have made you who you are today.

moving forward together

I don’t believe you need to be “fixed.” I believe you deserve to be understood and met with care. Therapy is a space to show up as yourself, including the parts that feel complicated or hard to share. Those parts are welcome here too.

We can start wherever you are. Let’s work toward a life that feels more connected to who you are and what matters to you.
